Katja Larsson graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art (MFA Sculpture) in 2015 and received her BA in Fine Art Photography from The Glasgow School of Art with 1st class honours in 2013. The same year she was shortlisted for the Saatchi Gallery’s New Sensations Award and participated in the group show at Victoria House, Bloomsbury. Over the past couple of years, Katja Larsson has exhibited widely in shows including National Sculpture Prize, Broomhill Sculpture Park, Devon, OK Corral and CHART Art Fair in Copenhagen and Chelsea Arts Club and UCL Art Museum in London. In 2017 she was awarded the ADP Residency by EIB Institute at The European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, and in 2018 she was presented at Borås Konstmuseum in the exhibition Snittet. Larsson is represented in the collections of Public Art Agency Sweden, Stockholm County Council, Knivsta and Örebro Municipality, Stockholm School of Economics, AxFast AB and European Investment Bank as well as private collections.
