Pranati Panda (b. 1974, Bhubaneshwar) is a multi-disciplined artist that centers greater philosophy at the core of her artistic practice, often utilizing abstraction to question one’s autonomy within the context of time and grander infinities. Pranati’s solo exhibition, Speaking Threads, debuted at Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi in 2019. She has exhibited elsewhere as well, including at Latitude 28, New Delhi (2021); Gallery Art Positive, New Delhi (2021, 2016); Ragini Art Gallery, New Delhi (2018); Religare Art, New Delhi (2012); Exhibit 320, New Delhi (2010); Tangerine Art Space, and at Bangalore (2008).
Pranati Panda’s long anticipated solo show, Weaving What We Carry, explores selfhood through memory and images of one’s biologic microcosms. Across painting, textile, mixed media, and installation work, Panda turns these microscopic emblems into large presentations—encourging the viewer to contemplate their existence within an infinitive context.
Weaving What We Carry opens on September 3rd, 2025, only at Aicon Contemporary.
